Over time hard water can cause harmful mineral scale deposits in your water-using equipment, coating heating elements and water storage tanks to the point that they reduce efficiency or stop working completely. A good water softening system is your first line of defense against this issue - this model reduces water hardness with a high-capacity ion exchange resin inside a semi-transparent, wound fiberglass resin tank, which features a blow-molded polyethylene inner shelf and a distributor system that scrubs the resin clean during regeneration. A digital control valve on top of the tank gives you access to a full range of customization, tracking, and diagnostic options, to fine-tune system operation to your exact needs. Softens water, removing hardness that can lead to scale buildup. 9 GPM flow rate, 56,800 grain capacity, 125 psi maximum pressure. Includes resin tank, brine tank, and control valve.
