It plays a crucial role in protecting your ice machine and reducing maintenance by effectively reducing sediment, lime scale buildup, and other impurities. The 4HC-H filter, which replaces the discontinued HC-F and HC-H filters, is designed to provide better tasting water and ice by reducing up to 93.7% of disinfectant chlorine. It is recommended to replace the filter approximately every 21,000 gallons or every 6-12 months, depending on usage and water condition.
