Please keep in mind when bidding, there is a 15% premium added to the amount of your winning bid. In addition, unless sales tax exempt under Maryland law, you must pay a 6% sales tax on amount of the invoice total. For instance, you win an item for $100.00, your invoice total will start with $100.00 due, plus 15%, in this case $15.00 for total of $115.00. Then, unless sales tax exempt under Maryland law, a 6% sales tax will be assessed on that, in this case $115.00 times 6% ($6.90) for a total of $121.90 due. Please read over your invoice carefully. Since the auction is in Maryland, this sales tax is due even if bidding outside of Maryland. If sales tax exempt, please email (mark@auctionfactory.com) a copy of your Maryland Sales Tax Exempt Certificate ahead of time so that sales tax is not added to your inoice. Your certificate must be current, not expired, on file with the State of Maryland, and be in the name of the person, business, government agency, or organization that is bidding on the items.

🦃 Alll invoices must be paid by 5pm Eastern Time Monday, December 9th. You can pay your invoices online by logging in, click invoices, pay invoices, and if you can't see "pay invoice" on your phone, try turning the screen landscape (sideways). You can pay via credit card over the phone or when picking up. You can pay by cash when picking up. When paying with debit/credit card over the phone or picking up, any inoice with a total under $10.00 will be charged a $5.00 fee. 🦃

Your items must be picked up, or shipping/delivery arranged by the end of the times/dates listed on pickup in auction details. Any items not picked up or have shipping/pickup arrangements by the end of that time are subject to storage fees. No shipping or delivery quotes will be given until invoice is paid in full. No breakable items, such as, but not limited to, glass, porcelain, etc. will be shipped via postal means such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc. Breakable items can be shipped via pallet, either by themselves or combined with larger items. No refunds will be given if you only win breakable items and cannot pick them up or don't consider shipping worth it. Keep this in mind if bidding on bigger items and don't win the big item, yet win the breakable items. For shipping, there will be a pallet fee of $50 - $100 per pallet, and boxing fee of $5.00 per box (even if just to retape/secure original box).
